Allied Global is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join an innovative technology team building scalable data platforms that power advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.

In this role, you'll design and optimize modern data pipelines within a hybrid SaaS and on-premise environment, helping ensure reliable, secure, and high-quality data across the organization. You'll also play a key role in extending and maintaining the company's Elastic Hierarchy framework while collaborating with cross-functional engineering, analytics, and product teams.

• →Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python.
• →Build and optimize data workflows across multiple data sources and formats (JSON, CSV, XML, etc.).
• →Develop transformation models using DBT.
• →Create and manage orchestration workflows with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• →Ensure data quality, governance, security, and reliability across the platform.
• →Extend and optimize the Elastic Hierarchy data framework.
• →Collaborate with Analytics, Machine Learning, and Product teams to deliver business-ready datasets.
• →Support data operations across SaaS and on-premise deployments.
• →Continuously improve data infrastructure performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong Python programming skills.  
• Hands-on experience building modern ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with DBT.
• Experience with at least one orchestration platform:
  • Apache Airflow
  • Prefect
  • Dagster
• Experience working with:
  • Snowflake
  • MongoDB
  • PostgreSQL
• Experience processing structured and semi-structured data.
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, reconciliation, and attribution processes.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
