At Daxko, we're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (PHP) to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable applications while helping shape technical architecture and mentoring fellow engineers. • →Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
• →Build clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• →Contribute to the technical architecture and overall product design.
• →Develop responsive, high-performance, cross-platform solutions.
• →Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• →Troubleshoot application, system, and data-related issues.
• →Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• →Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine user stories and develop prototypes.
• →Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• →Identify potential technical risks and proactively recommend solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing applications with PHP.
• Experience using Git for source control.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Understanding of AWS cloud services.
• Experience with relational databases such as:
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • Amazon Aurora
  • DB2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with Laravel and/or CodeIgniter.
• Front-end development experience with React.
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices.
• Exposure to mobile application development.
• Familiarity with DDD (Domain-Driven Design), TDD (Test-Driven Development), and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
• Experience building and integrating REST Web Services.
