We offer home, auto and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products, through a large network of independent insurance agents, as well as directly to consumers.

The Transfer Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing insurance book-of-business transfers for assigned independent agencies. This role manages defined transfer & conversion initiatives from planning through stabilization, ensuring accurate execution, policy conversion, and minimal disruption. The role operates within established guidelines and does not own underwriting, pricing, or long-term portfolio profitability.

Responsibilities

Manage and executes assigned agency book transfer and conversion initiatives
Execute conversion timelines and sequencing for assigned books
Supports and executes conversion of transferred quotes into bound policies

Act as a primary point of contact for agencies during assigned conversions
Provide guidance on conversion steps, workflows, and documentation
Escalate issues or risks as needed

Monitor conversion progress and quote-to-policy outcomes
Support retention efforts during carrier transitions
Identify conversion challenges and recommend corrective actions

Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Technology teams
Support data migration, policy issuance, and renewal timing activities

Track conversion metrics for assigned initiatives
Maintain accurate reporting and provide status updates
Flag risks or performance issues

Requirements

Experience working with independent agencies or agency operations
Working knowledge of P&C insurance products
Ability to sell and overcome objections
Strong organizational and communication skills
Prior book transfer and conversion experience desired

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications
