ACG_3292_JOB Our client is a leading insurance corporation in Vietnam, seeking experienced professionals to join its organization. Develop and implement a comprehensive operations strategy from pre-launch through post-launch phases, including organization design, operating processes, systems, and performance indicators (KPIs). Lead and optimize core insurance operations, including Underwriting, Policy Issuance, Policy Administration, Claims, Customer Service, and Management Reporting, while continually improving processes to ensure quality, safety, compliance, and customer centricity. Drive digitalization and operational modernization initiatives, including automation, systems integration, and enhancement of a consistent customer experience across all service channels. Establish and maintain a robust operational risk management and control framework that ensures full compliance with internal policies and applicable laws, while supporting growth and profitability objectives. Build and develop the Operations organization, ensuring strong talent pipelines, efficient structures, and a high-performance, service-driven culture aligned with strategic priorities. Requirements 1. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related fields. A degree in Insurance is an advantage. Candidates without the above majors must meet relevant experience requirements and hold internationally recognized insurance certifications as required by current regulations. Prefer candidates with international insurance qualifications such as LOMA, ANZIIF, or CII, for example: FLMI, ACS, Fellow CIP, Senior Associate CIP, Dip CII, ACII, or FCII. Candidates with non-insurance, non-finance, and non-business majors will be prioritized if they possess one of the above certifications or equivalent. 2. Relevant Knowledge and Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in retail financial services operations such as insurance, banking, or consumer finance, including at least 5 years in a management or control position within a life insurance company. Experience as COO or equivalent is an advantage. For candidates without relevant majors, at least 15 years of experience in financial services operations is required, including a minimum of 7 years in a management or control role in life insurance. Proven experience in designing and managing end-to-end insurance operations processes across multiple functions. Strong experience building and optimizing service delivery models supporting large distribution networks such as agency and bancassurance. Hands-on experience leading digitalization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and customer experience. Experience managing operational integration and transformation projects, including post-merger integration. Experience setting up operational frameworks, processes, and organizations for start-ups or newly established companies in retail financial services. Experience in the Vietnam market is an advantage. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance in insurance operations, including insurance law, personal data protection, AML, FATCA, BCP, and other applicable regulations. 3. Skills and Competencies Strategic planning and execution. Ability to translate business objectives into effective operating models in life and health insurance. Process design and optimization. Skilled in improving service quality while minimizing risk. Risk management and compliance. Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks. Business acumen. Clear understanding of how operations impact business performance and customer satisfaction. Stakeholder and partner management. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and regulators. Change leadership and innovation. Experience leading teams through transformation and driving continuous improvement. Performance and cost management. Experience managing budgets and optimizing resources. Language and communication.
