Planning Manager

ACG_3861_JOB Our client, who is a leading electric motorbike company, is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. Replenishment Planning Develop and manage replenishment plans based on actual demand, demand forecasts, and established inventory policies. Monitor inventory levels, including minimum and maximum stock levels and safety stock, to maintain product availability while minimizing excess inventory. Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams to address stock shortages and slow-moving inventory. Recommend improvements to replenishment strategies to optimize working capital, cash flow, and inventory-related costs. Production Planning Develop, manage, and monitor short-term, medium-term, and long-term production plans. Balance demand requirements with available production capacity, workforce resources, and equipment capabilities. Track production progress and manage changes, constraints, or potential risks that may affect production plans. Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse teams to ensure production plans are practical, achievable, and delivered on schedule. Material Planning Plan raw materials, components, and semi-finished goods in accordance with production requirements and schedules. Ensure materials are available in the required quantities and at the appropriate time to prevent disruptions to production. Coordinate with Purchasing and Sourcing teams to manage supplier lead times and resolve material shortages. Monitor and control material inventory levels, shelf life, and risks related to obsolete or excess materials. Overall and Company-wide Planning Consolidate, coordinate, and manage overall planning activities across the organization. Serve as the key point of contact for new or ad-hoc planning requirements arising from new products, projects, or strategic changes. Analyze relevant data, evaluate potential risks, and develop appropriate planning scenarios and recommendations. Establish, standardize, and continuously improve planning processes, templates, and reporting frameworks. Reporting and Continuous Improvement Prepare regular reports on planning performance, inventory status, production progress, and potential risks. Identify and recommend continuous improvements to planning processes, systems, and tools. Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems, spreadsheet-based planning tools, and other planning software. Provide coaching, guidance, and professional support to planning team members where applicable. Authority and Decision Making Propose and adjust plans within the scope of assigned responsibilities and authority. Recommend changes to inventory policies and production plans when operational or supply chain risks are identified. Coordinate with relevant functions to resolve issues that may affect supply chain operations and planning effectiveness. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. At least 5 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related position. Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in office productivity tools and material management, ERP, or MRP systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic working environment.
