~1 min read- →Manage construction defect litigation matters from pre-suit through trial preparation
- →Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence
- →Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- →Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances
- →Communicate directly with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and carriers
- →Analyze construction documents, contracts, and defect-related claims
- →Coordinate discovery, document review, and case strategy with litigation team members
- →Maintain accurate billing and case management records
- →Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to meet deadlines and client objectives
Requirements
~1 min read- 3–5 years of substantive construction defect litigation experience required
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Experience using ProLaw or familiarity with ProLaw is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment
