Algorithm Engineer

• →Develop algorithms for detection, classification, image analysis, and AI/ML applications.
• →Design tools and methods for data analysis, testing, validation, and model improvement.
• →Research and apply emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• →Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to move concepts from research to production.
• →Document technical work and communicate results to a variety of stakeholders.
• →Contribute to innovative solutions that enhance security screening capabilities.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

• Academic, internship, research, or project experience in AI, machine learning, computer vision, image processing, or software development.
• Familiarity with algorithm development and data analysis.

• Hands-on experience applying algorithms, machine learning models, or data analysis techniques.
• Experience developing technical solutions in academic or professional environments.

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing algorithms or AI/ML solutions.
• Strong technical expertise in machine learning, computer vision, image processing, or related disciplines.
• Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership is a plus.

Experience with one or more of the following:

• Object Detection & Classification
• Deep Learning
• Python, MATLAB, C++
• TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Windows and Linux development environments
• Explainable AI

Experience in aviation security, cargo screening, military systems, or threat detection applications is highly desirable.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be eligible to obtain applicable U.S. Government security vetting.
