Activities Assistant/DSP: Monday-Friday (7am-3pm)

High School Diploma or College Degree. Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required (this is a driving-intensive position). First Aid and CPR Certification required Certified Medication Technician (CMT) license preferred.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide hands-on support with daily community integration and life skills activities.
- →Drive individuals to various community locations, appointments, and activities — reliable and safe transportation is essential to this role.
- →Identify and coordinate opportunities that promote social connection and community inclusion based on individual interests.
- →Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community partners to create inclusive experiences.
- →Follow the Plan of Care developed by the Delegating Nurse and provide feedback on client progress.
- →Prioritize and respond to client needs with professionalism and empathy.
- →Ensure client safety and well-being in all settings.
- →Maintain accurate documentation of care and community engagement activities.
- →Listen actively to client preferences and advocate for their inclusion in community life.
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Requirements
~1 min read- High School Diploma or College Degree.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required (this is a driving-intensive position).
- First Aid and CPR Certification required
- Certified Medication Technician (CMT) license preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in the field.
- Flexibility, patience, and a strong commitment to community inclusion.
