Join our team of compassionate professionals who work daily to create a positive, healthy culture for adolescents. The Clinical Director establishes a positive, upbeat environment building on client strengths.

These individuals create an emotionally safe, non-punitive setting that is engaging and nurturing. All progress and significant events are documented and discussed with the Treatment Team, to ensure everyone is on the same page about doing what is in the best interest of our clients.

Anderson Health Services is launching mental and behavioral health programs to provide 24/7 emotional support to clients with a history of complex trauma. This is a salaried position, and everyone is dedicated to offering high-quality, culturally sensitive care to adolescents in need of emotional help and support.

The Clinical Director at Anderson Health Services is expected to:
• Manage and develop programs aligned with the interest of the facility and its client
• Create a positive, high-energy culture for clients and staff
• Actively build an emotionally safe, non-punitive environment that is engaging and nurturing
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support for direct reports
• Set and evaluate employees' goals and objectives and use them to evaluate job performance.
• Train and develop employees
• Maintain work relations and resolve grievances
• Ensure client progress and significant events are documented and communicated with Treatment Teams
• Model effective relationship-building and verbal de-escalation skills to manage and reduce risk
• Ensure compliance with all state and federally required mandates
• Demonstrate empathy and self-regulation skills

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services is required.
A minimum of two years of population specific experience working with children ages 12-17 is required.

Additional Requirements

Must have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to demonstrate effective self-regulation strategies. Must be coachable and willing to learn. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening and background check.
