The Victim Witness Intern supports the department’s operational and administrative needs. Work includes assisting with general victim/witness support tasks including generating forms, clerical and secretarial support, completing mailings, monitoring emails, and assisting on special projects.

This internship position is located at the Anoka County Attorney’s Office in Government Center in Anoka.

  • This position will work at the Anoka County Government Center, located at 2100 3rd Ave, Anoka, MN 55303.
  • This position may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work, with some days working remotely and some days working in the office.
  • Expected work hours can be flexible and within the standard working hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and secretarial support for victim witness division.
  • Deliver remarkable customer service while answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Work with Victim Witness staff on mailings and routine work functions of the division.
  • Create and edit memos, letters, reports, and presentations as directed. Enter data into systems as needed.
  • Act as a liaison and point of contact for the department as assigned.
