The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is seeking a dedicated START CSIDD Coordinator to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who experience complex behavioral and mental health needs. What We Offer
~1 min readThe START (Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources, and Treatment) Program provides crisis prevention and intervention services for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health challenges. Our goal is to provide person-centered, community-based supports that help individuals remain safely in their homes and communities.

- Crisis Response
- In-Home Support
- Therapeutic Resource Centers
- Consultation
- Education and Training
- Community Outreach
The program serves 17 counties throughout Western New York.
As a START CSIDD Coordinator, you will manage an active caseload of individuals referred for services and coordinate supports across multiple systems. You will provide consultation, outreach, crisis intervention, and person-centered planning to help individuals and families access the resources they need.
Responsibilities

- →Develop and implement cross-system support plans
- →Provide crisis prevention and intervention services
- →Conduct outreach, consultation, and education activities
- →Collaborate with families, providers, and community partners
- →Support individuals with IDD and co-occurring mental health or behavioral health needs
- →Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner
Requirements
~1 min read- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health/behavioral health needs
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience working with complex service systems
- Experience supporting families and individuals in crisis
- Strong case management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
