HSE Officer

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an HSE Officer for their company. Job Summary The role of an HSE Officer in the construction field is to ensure that the construction site is a safe and healthy environment for workers, visitors, and the public. They play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential hazards and risks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and health on the construction site. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures for the construction site Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and risks to health and safety Identifying and reporting on health and safety performance indicators to management Investigating and reporting on accidents, incidents, and near-misses Providing training and education to workers on health and safety procedures and practices Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations Liaising with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure compliance and certification Conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures Conducting safety audits and ensuring corrective actions are taken where necessary. Requirements Minimum 2 to 4 Years o HSE experience within the construction field OSHA / Diploma in Industrial Safety + Should meet government norms Good English language communication Willing to work in different work locations whenever required
