Associate/Senior Associate, Systems Engineer

We’re looking for a Systems Engineer with a passion for technology and asset management to join our Engineering Team. You’ll be building the systems through which our firm-wide investment process runs. This role is ideally suited to an individual who wants to be involved in a tech-focussed firm and brings systems experience as well as coding expertise in Rust and/or Python.

The Role:

• →Desire to work as part of a team and strong communication skills.
• →Eagerness and ability to learn and develop expertise in new technologies and fixed income (if no prior exposure)
• →Ability to write high quality Python code.
• →C++ &/or RUST coding experience/interest in coding in Rust is highly desirable
• →An understanding of the importance of testing.
• →Strong stakeholder management skills and related business analysis.
• →Ability to parse problems and present solutions.
• →Ownership for the code you write.

• Server-side development experience.
• Experience with the fixed income asset class (credit, interest rates, bonds, CDS, and related derivatives)
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Experience designing APIs.
• Experience with Rust
• Experience with Kubernetes
