Reporting to the Director, Business Analysis, you will combine budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling with ongoing reporting and business support. Your work will help partners understand performance against their financial goals and identify where adjustments are needed.

You will investigate variances, explain trends, and turn complex information into practical recommendations. Working closely with Accounting and business stakeholders, you will balance recurring deliverables with new analytical requests in a changing environment.

  • Business Partnership: Support multiple business groups in understanding financial results and working toward annual budget and forecast goals.
  • Financial Planning: Support budgeting and forecast updates by gathering inputs, evaluating assumptions, and maintaining projections.
  • Financial Modeling: Create and maintain models and analyses that help partners evaluate business scenarios and decisions.
  • Variance Analysis: Compare actual results with budgets and forecasts, investigate differences, and explain the underlying drivers.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare timely financial reporting and maintain financial and operational metrics.
  • Business Reviews: Develop materials for regular business-partner reviews, highlighting trends, risks, and recommendations.
  • Accounting Collaboration: Work with the accounting team to support accurate financial reporting and understand how accounting activity affects results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to make reporting and analysis clearer, more useful, and more efficient.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in a finance function.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge and skills needed for the role.
  • Experience preparing and analyzing financial performance reports.
  • A solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and how accounting concepts translate into a profit and loss statement.
  • Experience communicating across functions and explaining financial information to business partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate details and communicate the findings clearly.
  • Organization, initiative, and the ability to manage competing requests and deadlines.
  • Comfort working independently, asking questions, and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work onsite in Scottsdale Monday through Thursday, with Friday work from home.

Financial planning internship experience is a plus, not a requirement.
