A Membership Development Representative embodies the Arrowhead service culture and represents the organization throughout our communities, increasing branch awareness and membership growth. Working closely with other members of the team and local branch teams, Membership Development Specialists plan events that generate new leads, provide consultative services to new and existing members, develop new memberships, and deepen existing member engagement.
You must have a valid driver's license and an insured vehicle to qualify.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Provides exceptional member service; uses Service Standards in every work-related interaction.
- →Actively participates in meeting department-level goals and supporting organizational development goals.
- →Develops relationships with members and non-members to uncover financial needs and goals, provide sound financial solutions, and make appropriate product recommendations, aiming to increase loyalty and improve engagement and retention of members and business relationships.
- →Delivers consultative services to members regarding the Credit Union’s products and services by assessing the member’s needs, employing effective listening and interviewing skills, addressing their concerns, and gaining agreement.
- →Develops and hosts dynamic events within assigned accounts while enthusiastically promoting the benefit of Arrowhead Credit Union membership to existing and potential members in business-to-consumer settings. Expertly hosts events in a variety of forums, including in-person and virtually.
- →Actively seeks opportunities to grow Credit Union awareness and membership through business relationship visits, promotional campaigns, and community events.
- →Accountable for obtaining accurate information necessary to open memberships. Answers member inquiries and provides information promptly and in accordance with Credit Union policy.
- →Coordinates and supervises Credit Union staff while assisting at events and presentations while fostering a “One Team” environment.
- →Develops and maintains a close partnership with assigned branches, including frequent communication via email, phone calls, virtual format, and face-to-face meetings; training; and follow through on leads and requests to ensure a “One Team” atmosphere.
- →Independently manages daily, weekly, and monthly activities focused on maximizing interactions within the communities we serve and meeting or exceeding organization growth objectives.
- →Manages monthly expense budget, and is a good steward of the Credit Union’s funds and resources.
- →Requires frequent local and regional travel. Maintains a flexible schedule and the willingness/ability to work extended or non-traditional business hours as needed to perform the position's essential functions.
