Developer III

The Developer III leads the design, enhancement, operation, and maintenance of complex enterprise software applications supporting mission-critical business operations in a regulated client environment. This role translates functional requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable application components and technical designs using modern React and .NET technologies.

The position provides senior-level technical leadership through peer reviews, complex defect resolution, performance optimization, mentoring, and adherence to Agile and DevSecOps delivery practices. The Developer III also builds and supports automated delivery pipelines that validate, test, package, deploy, and monitor changes across controlled application environments.

• →Lead the design, development, enhancement, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex full-stack software applications using current .NET platforms, C#, RESTful APIs, and React-based user interfaces.
• →Translate functional requirements into secure technical designs, reusable components, data-access patterns, interface contracts, development estimates, and implementation plans.
• →Assess existing application architecture, isolate and resolve complex production defects, remediate technical debt, and improve application reliability, maintainability, performance, and response times.
• →Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that perform pull-request validation, linting, builds, unit and integration testing, artifact packaging, controlled deployment, and release verification.
• →Apply secure software delivery practices, including code reviews, dependency and vulnerability remediation, secrets management, access controls, audit-ready change management, and automated quality gates.
• →Use Azure cloud services to host, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and scale enterprise applications, leveraging application telemetry and monitoring data to support operational reliability.
• →Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional delivery teams to define requirements, resolve technical blockers, and deliver high-quality solutions in Agile environments.
• →Mentor less-experienced developers, establish and reinforce engineering standards, conduct peer reviews, and provide technical guidance across application operations, maintenance, and modernization activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Six or more years of progressively responsible experience in software development, web application development, and application operations and maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining full-stack web applications using C#, current .NET platforms, React, JavaScript, HTML, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience supporting existing enterprise applications, including production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect remediation, performance optimization, and technical-debt reduction.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, code-quality checks, unit and integration testing, packaging, deployment, and release validation.
• Working knowledge of secure software development practices, including code review, vulnerability remediation, secure secrets handling, access controls, dependency management, and change-management controls.
• Ability to meet Public Trust suitability requirements and U.S. citizenship requirements.

• Experience using Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Key Vault, application monitoring, telemetry, and cloud-hosted application deployment and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage concepts, including structured and unstructured data storage, hierarchical namespace patterns, access controls, and analytics integration.
• Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or a comparable cloud or DevSecOps certification.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, containerized application delivery, observability tooling, and AI-enabled coding tools used with appropriate developer review and security controls.
