Associate Application Developer

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics LLC is seeking a skilled Associate Application Developer to join our internal IT team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications that support our business operations. This position is ideal for a motivated full‑stack Java developer who enjoys working across the application lifecycle—from architecture and coding to troubleshooting and production support. Key Responsibilities: Perform full‑stack Java application development, including front‑end, back‑end, and database componentsDesign, code, debug, test, and document software applications in accordance with established standardProvide timely troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and technical support for production systemsCollaborate with internal and external customers, system users, and Corporate IT to gather requirements and refine solutionsApply strong analytical and conceptual thinking to solve complex technical challengesDemonstrate professionalism, ethical decision-making, and a commitment to high-quality results Required Qualifications: U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field0-2 years of professional software development experienceProficiency in:Java/Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and JavaScriptPostgreSQL or other relational database (i.e. Oracle)Git source controlWeb application design and developmentHTML, CSS, JSON, UX fundamentalsXML Preferred Skills: Agile software development methodologiesAgile Project Management tools such as Jira/Confluence (preferred) or similar alternativesREST and SOAP web servicesXSLT, XSDPythonAndroid developmentJenkins build and deployment pipelinesExperience with ERP or financial/business systemsExperience in the government contracting industry
