Company Overview
A technology company providing AI-powered tools, educational resources, and data analytics, with an affiliated law firm. The business operates in a sophisticated, professional space — employment law and legal tech — and is building out its marketing presence across LinkedIn, its website, and, longer-term, a companion site for the law firm.
Role Overview
The company is looking for a broad-based marketer, not just a content creator. Getting a post written and published is only the first step — this role owns everything that happens after: amplifying reach, organising engagement and cross-promotion, tracking performance, and reporting back on what’s working and why.
The ideal candidate understands the mechanics of organic growth and distribution on LinkedIn and ideally other platforms, and is comfortable using marketing and analytics tools to track results and identify opportunities for improvement.
This person will work closely with the wider team, and content creation itself may be lightly supported or handled separately. The priority is someone who can operate across the full marketing funnel rather than being limited to one narrow function.
Key Responsibilities
-
Own LinkedIn strategy and execution, including posting, engagement and organic audience growth
-
Drive amplification of posts by coordinating comments, engagement and cross-promotion across the team's networks
-
Track and report on campaign and content performance, identifying trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
-
Support content creation and copywriting for a professional, white-collar audience
-
Manage additional social channels, such as Instagram, as the presence expands
-
Support basic website content updates and monitor the website and social ecosystem for gaps or opportunities
-
Use marketing, social media and analytics tools to measure performance and inform strategy
-
Communicate proactively — share work in progress, flag blockers early, and provide regular status updates
Skills & Experience
-
Proven, broad-based marketing experience — comfortable across content, distribution, engagement and analytics
-
Strong understanding of LinkedIn distribution mechanics, including how to amplify content, encourage engagement and grow an audience organically
-
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing performance and turn data into actionable insights
-
Excellent English writing skills suitable for a corporate and professional audience
-
Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-
Comfortable using AI tools as a support layer, while maintaining original thinking and judgement
-
Confident, proactive communicator who will speak up early if something is unclear or not going to plan
-
B2B, legal, technology or professional services experience preferred
-
Comfortable learning new marketing platforms, systems and tools as required
