Responsibilities

→Attend customer sites as scheduled, following all safety, security, and operational procedures.
→Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fibre and copper cabling infrastructure.
→Perform cabling activities in server racks, including patching, dressing, and cable management.
→Conduct routine inspections of IT, server, and network equipment.
→Install, relocate, disconnect, and decommission network, server, and storage equipment.
→Support infrastructure upgrades, including laying additional fibre and copper cabling.
→Maintain accurate records, complete daily reports, and update stakeholders on work progress.
→Deliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors.

Requirements

Understanding of networking concepts, cabling standards, and best practices.
Experience installing and troubleshooting structured cabling (copper and fibre).
Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools such as OTDR, VFL, and power meters.
Basic understanding of networking hardware, including routers and switches.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
