ATI is currently seeking a Lab Technician (6) for Metallography Evaluation in our Monroe, NC facility. This position is a crucial step as the technician will be evaluating samples throughout the day by microscope to meet industry standards, making sure all materials are compliant before delivery to the customer.

As a lab technician, you will be evaluating metallographic samples under a microscope against industry standards and company specifications, entering results into the computer, and releasing final results for certification. A successful lab technician should show attention to detail, be self-motivated, be quality-oriented, have good communication skills, and work well within a team.

This is a night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule. The training schedule for this role is subject to change and may include both day and night sessions.

• →Schedule and prioritize samples
• →Troubleshoot problems
• →Engage in activities that promote growth in knowledge necessary to perform essential tasks
• →Assist in routine Laboratory operations and/or perform other work as directed
• →Maintain work areas in a clean orderly condition

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year of manufacturing experience
• Previous experience in quality assurance is a plus

• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and follow written procedures
• Required to pass In-dept vision screening
