Responsibilities

→Perform technical review of engagement work papers and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corps, and C-corps
→Provide consultation on business and/or personal transactions and their related tax implications, consequences, and treatment
→Develop responses to IRS and other regulatory and tax authority audits, notices, and inquiries
→Manage larger, complex engagements and multi-client workflows to minimize risk, meet deadlines, and maximize engagement economics
→Lead new business development opportunities
→Identify and pursue extended service opportunities within the existing client base
→Conduct or review high-level research on complex and emerging tax issues; prepare supporting memorandums
→Ensure appropriate resource assignment across engagement roles
→Stay current on tax law changes and provide updates and training to the broader tax practice
→Mentor and develop less experienced professionals on engagement management, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and client relations
