About This Position

Austin Facilities Management (AFM) is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to serve as the primary data quality reviewer for the department's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information that drives AFM's maintenance operations and capital planning. This position validates and corrects asset records, preventive maintenance schedules, and GIS/ESRI asset and location data; produces recurring reports tracking work order corrections and backcharges; and helps keep the data behind AFM's Capital Predictor forecasts accurate and current. The ideal candidate will bring a sharp eye for detail, comfort working inside a database or software system on a daily basis, and the persistence to track down and resolve discrepancies that others might overlook.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, wants to work with modern facilities management and mapping technology, and understands that clean, reliable data is what allows AFM to plan smarter and serve City departments better—all in support of the department's mission: "We Maintain the Places Where Great Work Happens."
