Senior Estimator

We're looking for a new Senior Estimator to join our Estimating team here at AVK. The role will play a key role in the estimating function across complex and high-value projects. It provides strategic cost advice, manages estimating deliverables, and ensures commercial integrity throughout the pre-construction phase.

• Extensive experience in estimating across sectors and project types 
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail 
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 software 
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities 
• Proven track record of delivering multiple high-quality estimates under pressure

• →Own all estimating documentation and ensure quality control 
• →Lead tender meetings and sign-off processes 
• →Deliver accurate cost estimates and competitive tender submissions 
• →Develop pricing strategies and oversee bid preparation 
• →Review project documents to ensure compliance and identify risks 
• →Maintain reliable cashflow forecasts 
• →Coordinate inputs from supply chain and internal teams 
• →Advise clients on procurement, risk, and estimating strategy 
• →Act as a client-facing lead throughout the estimating process 
• →Drive improvements in estimating tools and processes 
• →Mentor junior team members 
• →Ensure outputs meet client expectations and deadlines
