This is a hybrid opportunity based in New York, NY, supporting a business-critical security metrics and reporting function. The role offers exposure to cross-functional stakeholders, recurring reporting processes, business intelligence tools, and data governance practices in a professional financial services environment.
- Support the Security Metrics & Reporting function by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from internal systems, spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards.
- Translate data into meaningful business insights that help stakeholders evaluate trends, performance, and reporting accuracy.
- Build and maintain visualizations, charts, dashboards, and summary reports using Excel and BI tools.
- Partner with business units to clarify reporting needs, improve data consistency, and ensure outputs are accurate and actionable.
- Support recurring reporting cycles, ad hoc data requests, and documentation for repeatable reporting processes.
- Help maintain strong data quality, reporting consistency, and awareness of data governance and privacy expectations.
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a closely related analytics function.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, data organization, and reporting support.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization/business intelligence tools.
- Exposure to SQL and relational databases is a plus.
- Ability to analyze trends, identify patterns, and interpret data in a business context.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
- Basic understanding of data governance, privacy principles, and reporting documentation.
