When Bad Birdie started, we gave golfers something they’d never seen before: a bold printed polo designed to disrupt tradition and invite more people into the game. Today, we’re proud to create premium golf apparel that’s colorful, confident, and playfully rebellious, built so every player can feel good and have a hell of a good time on the course. As we grow, we’re committed to keeping that original energy alive, continuing to challenge what’s possible in golf while respecting the game and welcoming everyone to play their way. We started bold. We’re staying bad. And we’ll keep showing golfers what the game can be.
About the Role
~1 min readBad Birdie is growing fast, and this role is the connective tissue that keeps the whole engine running. You’ll sit at the intersection of marketing execution, vendor management, and product operations, with your hands on nearly every lever that drives revenue through our owned channels. One day you’re in Impact sorting out an affiliate payout. The next you’re sourcing influencers in Upfluence and getting seeding out the door. The day after that you’re loading a new drop into Shopify, with imagery, copy, and metafields all in place, and QA’ing it before it goes live. No two days look the same, and that’s the point.
Within the first 3 to 6 months, success looks like:
- Product launches in Shopify are tight. Imagery, copy, and metafields are all in place before anything goes live
- The ecommerce and growth teams trust the execution layer so they can focus on strategy
- Our affiliate and influencer partners know who to go to and get answers fast
- Affiliates and influencers are paid accurately and on time through Impact and Upfluence
- Weekly reporting across affiliate and influencer channels lands with context, not just numbers
- Set up new products in Shopify and Fuego
- Manage homepage and website updates
- Support app management
- Support A/B tests
- QA new launches before they go live so nothing ships broken
- Manage the affiliate marketing program, including product seeding, discount codes, and tracking links
- Manage various platforms to make sure affiliate partners are paid accurately and on time
- Source, seed, and pay Instagram influencers
- Keep a running view of what’s working across partners and flag what isn’t
- Upload images and copy for email and SMS campaigns into Klaviyo and Attentive
- Test links within email and SMS campaigns
- Facilitate the trafficking of creative assets between the creative team, partners, and our media agency
- Pull weekly revenue reporting across affiliate, email, SMS, and influencer channels
- Flag what’s tracking ahead or behind expectations, and why
- 2 to 3 years of experience in ecommerce, marketing operations, or a similar coordinator role, ideally at a DTC brand
- Hands-on Shopify experience required. Experience with Upfluence, Impact, or comparable affiliate/influencer platforms preferred.
- Experience with Klaviyo and Attentive is a plus
- Strong writing instincts. You can draft copy that has a voice, not just filler
- Highly organized with real attention to detail. Nothing slips through the cracks when you’re on it
- Comfortable being the point person with outside agencies and vendors
- Self-starter who operates without a lot of oversight and knows when to ask questions
