As a Mechanic you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction. You will provide technical support across the business whilst complying with HS&E policies.
As a CT Mechanic , you will be responsible for:
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on coiled tubing units, injectors, reels, trailers, power packs, and fluid pumps.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues to ensure maximum reliability during well
- Maintaining, testing and assembling product / tools / sub-assemblies for operations
- Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices
- Assisting in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
- Providing coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
- Handling special projects, as assigned
- Meeting Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Diploma or equivalent
- Have a minimmum of 5 years experience with Coiled Tubing equipment maintanance
- Be able to work efficiently in a team environment and communicate effectively in a courteous manner.
- Have a dedicated focus towards safety and quality
- Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills,
- Have knowledge of workshop equipment and their uses (shop tooling, measurement and material handling)

You may be required to remain on call after hours and weekends (rotating schedule)
