The role is responsible for maintenance, repair, overhaul and test. You will provide specialist support in a variety of technical duties to support the maintenance and reliability initiatives of the organization. You will work on a range of Process & Pipeline equipment including instrumentation within the limit of proven competence.
The Electromechanical Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safe, reliability, and high‑quality delivery of oil field equipment. You will apply hands‑on technical skills across electronic and mechanical systems to assemble, maintenance, test, troubleshoot various oil field equipment. Working closely with ARMO teams, engineering, quality, and field project teams, you will help maintain equipment readiness and support continuous improvement across operations.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a school diploma or equivalent
- Associate academic diploma Electromechanical Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology or related Certified Electrical License registered by a Energy Commission.
- Preferred industry experience, 3+ years (electronic, oilfield, automotive) maintenance related experience with excellent mechanical aptitude. Reading and interpreting system schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists
- Good mechanical skills, and the ability to multitask whilst using technical equipment is preferred
- Problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skills is preferred
- Be proficient in reading and interpreting methods, procedures, and to follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and be able to develop solutions
- Proficiency with computer systems, maintenance software, complete reporting and testing documentation.
