Senior Integrated Production Systems Engineer
Quick Summary
Senior Integrated Production Systems Engineer
Baker Hughes is a global energy‑technology company operating in more than 120 countries. We deliver innovative solutions that make energy safer, cleaner, and more efficient. Our teams help customers maximize asset value by improving recovery, extending field life, and implementing sustainable production strategies across mature and developing assets.
As a Senior Integrated Production Systems Engineer you will be designing integrated production system solutions that connect wells, artificial lift, surface networks, processing facilities, reliability, operations, and digital monitoring into a coherent improvement program. The senior engineer should have direct experience with projects that moved from field diagnosis and concept selection through pre-FEED/FEED, implementation, commissioning or operational rollout, and performance monitoring. The role requires working knowledge of the individual products, systems, and services that make up the production system value chain, and the judgment to know which technical disciplines and data sets are needed before recommending an approach to the client.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Leading assessment of well performance, artificial lift, gathering networks, processing facilities, reliability, surveillance, and operating practices to identify production constraints.
- →Defining integrated technical scopes combining wells, lift, network debottlenecking, facility optimization, reliability improvement, and digital monitoring solutions.
- →Identifying the reservoir, production, artificial lift, facilities, process, reliability, automation, digital, operations and commercial inputs required to compare options and avoid disconnected technical scopes.
- →Applying practical experience from implemented production improvement projects, including commissioning constraints, operating adoption, production response tracking, uptime monitoring, deferment reduction, and continuous optimization.
- →Quantifying production gains, uptime improvement, deferment reduction, OPEX impact, and operational efficiency benefits.
- →Translating field performance issues into integrated service propositions with clear assumptions, implementation pathways, risk inputs, and measurable client value.
- →Guiding junior engineers, challenge assumptions across disciplines, and ensure production system solutions are technically sound and commercially compelling.
To be successful in this role you will:
- BSc in Petroleum, Production, Mechanical, Process, or related Engineering discipline.
- 12–15+ years experience in production engineering, integrated production systems, artificial lift, production operations, or field optimization.
- Strong understanding of wells, lift systems, surface networks, processing constraints, digital surveillance, reliability, and production optimization economics.
- Demonstrated ability to define integrated production improvement propositions and defend value cases with clients and leadership stakeholders.
