As a Services Experienced Professional - Field Service Engineer, you will provide services that will range in scope from performing standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Way gate Technologies: X-ray. Testing machine hardware and software products at Way gate and customer locations. Travel expected more than 70%.
You will be responsible for:
Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment, such as: X-ray tubes, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control and high-end PC.
Provide customers with technical support via phone and onsite service
Timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements.
Responsible for driving customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards.
Monitor site safety during work scope execution.
Ability to travel overnight approximately 70% of the time.
Carryout the duties assigned in a compliant manner with integrity. Required Qualifications Possess a Engineering degree in
Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or equivalent and have at least 1+ years of previous experience diagnosing and
repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10Kg, frequently lift and/or move up to 20kg.
Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment,
criminal history, driving record and educational background.
Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport).
Diploma / Degree In Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Bio-Medical engineering.
10+ years’ experience in Servicing of GE make X-ray / CT system.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
Successful applicants will be well versed in diagnosing electronic hardware problems, mechanical problems with CNC table,
software troubleshooting in a windows-based environment.
Solid verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and write English, Intermediate math skills.
Strong Computer skills with familiarity Windows and MS Office products
Able to read/understand schematics and use oscilloscopes/digital multi-meters.
Fundamental electronics and/or mechanical trouble shooting skills. "Hands-on experience"
Working knowledge of PLC’s Self-starter with minimal supervision requirement
Able to work independently; ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Radiography systems.
