Senior IT Project Manager

Salary: 5900-7100 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience, but we are flexible. 

Primary work location: Vilnius, Lithuania (hybrid). Remote work may be considered for the right candidate based in an EU member country. 

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week) 

Initial 3-month contract, with expected 3-month extensions through the end of 2026 and a high possibility of further extension thereafter.

Our client is one of the largest financial institutions in the Nordic region, supporting tens of thousands of end users across a complex enterprise environment. We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager within Technology / Security Transformation to join a Transformation and Enablement Area team.

How you'll spend your day 

• →Leading large-scale technology, security, or risk transformation initiatives in a complex organisation.
• →Experience from cyber security programmes is an advantage.
• →Lead multidisciplinary teams across technology, security, architecture, and business functions to deliver agreed outcomes and benefits.
• →Own project control, governance, and senior stakeholder reporting for timely decision-making.
• →Deliver tangible value through rigorous outcome tracking and course-correction capabilities.
• →Orchestrate stakeholders and manage dependencies across business and technology teams. 
• →Support change adoption with clear ownership and sustainable delivery models.

• Preferably 7+ years of relevant project/transformation management experience, including complex technology or security-related initiatives.
• Experience leading large-scale security transformations, cybersecurity or AI solutions would be an advantage.
• Strong delivery track record with transformation projects.
• Understanding of operating models and translating security and technology initiatives into business outcomes.
• Ability to orchestrate senior stakeholders across complex organisational landscapes.
• Clear and structured communication skills for creating decision-ready materials.
• Problem-solving mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and removing delivery blockers.
• Certification in the change management area.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies and AI landscape navigation.
