Responsibilities

Event planning and coordination

  • Plan and coordinate external events to enhance the public's financial literacy, and track the effectiveness of related events.
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders within the Bank and assist in development of publicity materials.

Credit Risk Management

  • Identify and analyse potential credit risk matters arising from retail credit product / process and advise corresponding risk control measures as needed.
  • Keep abreast of the market development on underwriting criteria of retail credit products, prepare proposals to enhance competitiveness of retail credit products.
  • Formulate, review and comment on credit policy and procedures to drive alignment to external regulations, BOC group requirements, market environment, business strategy, etc.
  • To handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by direct supervisor as needed. 

 

Requirements

  • University degree or above; candidates with experience in event coordination / credit risk management will be an advantage.
  • 3 years of experience gained from banking / financial institution, with prior experience in event coordination in banking / financial institution is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of retail credit products, regulatory and risk management standard in banking.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, with ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • Competent in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro is preferred.
