Electrical Technician II - Connectivity

From product concept to production, the Electrical Technician provides technical assistance to engineers by defining and performing tests and analyzing results within our RMA team.

This position reports to Sr. Director of Manufacturing – Connectivity.

According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as:    

• Non-Exempt

General duties Include:

• →Production Validation, Production Troubleshooting, Test System Set Up and Maintenance and Failure Analysis and repair including:
• →Cord set soldering, crimping and fixture creation, up and validation
• →General equipment recommendation, set up and training of operators
• →Automated, Semi-Automated and Manual Test Systems
• →Documenting and effectively communicating processes and findings to relevant stakeholders
• →Collaborating with the engineering team to help identify and implement production improvements.
• →Performing periodic internal calibration or verification of equipment.
• →Other duties as assigned

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Electronics Systems Technology, Engineering Technology, Robotics Technology or related field
• 0-5 Years Experience
• Experience working with basic hand tools
• Familiarity with:
• Electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
• General soldering processes\
• Communicating within Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic programming languages
• Technical Drawings
• Lean Manufacturing

• Occasionally move, carry, or lift objects or materials weighing up to 30 pounds frequently.

• Manufacturing Environment – Indoor and Climate Controlled
• Exposure to moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, and temperature changes in production areas
