Front of House Team Member – Hybrid Bartender & Server
Salary: £18.50 per hour (£14 per hour plus an average £4.50 tronc, although tronc is not guaranteed)
Hours: 40–45 hours per week (4–5 days per week)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Konjiki, Battersea Power Station
Are you passionate about hospitality, enjoy making great drinks and love creating memorable experiences for guests?
We’re looking for an experienced and versatile Front of House Team Member to join the opening team at our new Battersea restaurant, working across both bartending and table service.
Who We Are
We’re a family-run Japanese restaurant, with our first London restaurant based in Kensington, and we’re now excited to be opening our second branch at Battersea Power Station, where this role will be based.
This is a hybrid role. Some shifts may be primarily behind the bar, others on the restaurant floor, while some may combine serving and bar support. As this is a new opening, the balance between bartender and server shifts will vary according to business and staffing needs.
Our goal is to create an exceptional dining experience, and we believe that starts with a happy and passionate team. We genuinely care about our customers and each other, and we’re looking for someone who shares those values. We believe great restaurants are built by people who work hard, support one another and take pride in what they do.
What We're Looking For
Above all else, we're looking for someone who is kind, conscientious and reliable, and genuinely cares about helping both their colleagues and our guests.
We’re incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built within our existing team, where people proactively support one another. We’re looking for someone who will reinforce that culture — treating everyone with kindness and respect while working together to achieve the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will vary between bartending, table service and combined bar-support/front-of-house duties, depending on the shift and needs of the restaurant.
Guest & Table Service
We're particularly looking for someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team and is happy to work flexibly across different front-of-house responsibilities to help create an exceptional experience for every guest.
Recruitment & Start Dates
Our Battersea Power Station restaurant is due to open in November 2026. Successful candidates will complete their trial shift and first 1–2 weeks of employment and training at our Kensington restaurant before moving to Battersea.
Please take careful note of the planned recruitment schedule and availability dates below before applying:
