The Human Resources function is responsible for providing human resources (HR) support to a major business unit or functional area. This includes any issues relating to talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, and HR operations. The Analytics, Modeling, & Reporting area is responsible for analyzing and reporting on data sets for a particular area to evaluate, recommend and support the implementation of business strategies and operational processes. The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Reporting focus specializes in HRIS and Reporting maintenance and ongoing administration. Oversees the development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, policies, and procedures. Manages relationships with vendors, and the development of training and documentation for system use and maintenance. This job family is in the professional level category and works independently with flexibility and authority over daily work priorities. Incumbents in this job level category may provide work direction to other employees but would not typically have the authority to discipline or reward other employees. There are different levels available that provide clarity on contribution expectations based on knowledge, application, problem solving, and collaboration.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our global HR Technology team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our Workday ecosystem. You will partner closely with a global team of analysts and stakeholders to improve processes, resolve complex issues, and expand system capabilities that support our employees worldwide.Depending on your experience level, you will operate as either a high-level functional lead or a strong technical contributor, helping the team navigate the hire-to-retire lifecycle through smart technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Team-Based Configuration: Collaborate with P&T(People & Talent) and other stakeholders to design, configure and test Workday enhancements across various modules. You will help translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
* Global Support: Provide high-level end-user support; help develop and maintain shared user procedures, guidelines, and system documentation.
* System Integrity: Contribute to the overall health of Workday by participating in business process audits and security reviews. Help the team ensure data compliance and offer fast resolution for high-impact issues.
* Feature Adoption: Join the team in analyzing, testing, and adopting new functionality from semi-annual Workday releases to keep our platform at the cutting edge.
* Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong relationships with P&T partners and COEs to help advance Workday adoption and ensure a user-friendly experience for all employees.
* Shared Problem Solving: Research system problems and identify opportunities for improvement. You will seek opinions and feedback from the broader team to ensure suggested solutions are robust and global-ready.
* Reporting & Insights: Help the business make data-driven decisions by building and maintaining complex reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
Experience & Qualifications
Workday Expertise:
* 6+ years of hands-on experience in Workday configuration.
* We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more functional areas (e.g., Benefits, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Talent, Security) but must have a strong HCM background.
* We do not currently have Workday Financials or Recruiting.
* HR Process Knowledge:A strong understanding of global HR processes.
* Collaborative Mindset: A proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in an environment with global members and overlapping time zones.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency with Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.
* Experience assisting with data loads and mass updates via EIBs.
* Experience with various HR system configuration outside of Workday a plus (ex. LMS, ATS, Engagement Survey, Rewards).
* Analytical Approach: A strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues alongside your peers.
* Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and contribute to team goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
