KEAN Senior Quantity Surveyor

bbf: is expanding its internal team and currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for KEAN Project - our flagship development in Limassol. This large-scale, mixed-use seafront project will redefine modern coastal living, combining residential, commercial, and lifestyle spaces in one of the most prestigious areas of the city.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the QS team on site
• Reviewing tender documents of Subcontractors/ Suppliers ie. drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with main office for Contract preparation for Suppliers & Subcontractors
• Preparation of cost estimates for variations
• Communicate with the Procurement team for procuring the required site materials, with requirements and specifications
• Preparation of monthly valuations for the project
• Preparation of the Subcontractor & Suppliers Certificates every two weeks
• Pricing of variations
• Preparation of the final account on the completion of the project, in coordination with the Project team and the Finance and Accounts team
• Guides and provides support to the Projects teams
• Provides support to the Procurement team with quotations and comparisons of rates with preferred suppliers, so as to secure a competitive price 

Requirements for the position:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Proven work experience as Quantity Surveyor/ Civil  of at least 10 years
• RICS or PMI QS surveyor certification will be considered as an advantage
• Previous experience in procurement for large scale projects will be considered as advantage 
• Native Greek. Fluent in English language. 
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles 
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong computer skills - MS Office, AutoCad, MS Project
• Manage and coordinate a team of Quantity Surveyors for a big scale project
• Knowledge of cost-x will be considered as an advantage
