Are you a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse looking to make a difference? Beloit Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Urology team. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to deliver exceptional care to patients with a variety of urologic conditions.
- Shift: 1st
- Schedule: 8a-5p, occasional Saturday hours
- Hours per week: 40 hours per week

This Registered Nurse Clinic in Urology will provide nursing care and perform procedures as necessary for patient care.
The Registered Nurse Clinic in Urology will:
- Assist providers with office procedures and deliver appropriate nursing care according to patient needs and clinical protocols.
- Perform patient glucose monitoring and upload data from glucose meters, insulin pumps, and other diabetes management devices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in navigating and utilizing electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical software applications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and coordinate communication with providers and staff.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate medication records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Exercise sound clinical judgment and professional communication while addressing patient needs and concerns.
- Ensures appropriate and adequate supplies are on hand
- Appropriately assesses basic physical psychological and social needs of patients and their families
- Provides patient and family education appropriately
- Strictly adheres to infection control procedures including body substance isolation and bloodborne pathogen precautions
- Ensures patient safety while handling, transporting, and providing medications to patients
- Protect patients from various hazards, falls, diseases exposures, etc.
- Participates in quality assurance activities initiates and maintains accurate electronic and/or paper medical records
- Assists with completing patient paperwork including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree acceptable.
- State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit required. (If a compact license, application for a State of Wisconsin nursing license must be initiated in no more than 30 days from start date).
- Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.
- Prior experience working with electronic medical records and experience in Urology preferred.
