Office Specialists – Behavioral Health

PRIORITY OPENING: Behavioral Health Office Specialists

Las Vegas, Nevada | In Office | Part-Time | $17.00–$19.50 per hour

Beyond Expectation, LLC is seeking dependable, service-focused Office Specialists to support our behavioral health practice. This is a hands-on front-office support position and does not carry Office Manager responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and screen telephone calls and emails professionally
• Accept and accurately document patient payments
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Schedule psychotherapy appointments for in-office and telehealth services
• Support patients, providers, and referring community partners with timely, courteous service
• Maintain and update confidential electronic health records
• Help ensure consistent office-support coverage and smooth day-to-day front-office operations
• Complete other assigned office-support duties

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred
• Strong written, verbal, computer, and customer-service skills
• Ability to multitask accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Professional judgment, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented approach
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Experience with basic behavioral health, medical office, reception, or high-volume scheduling practices
• Ability to work in office and help support coverage Monday through Saturday

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish-English bilingual
• Experience with insurance verification and eligibility
• Experience using an electronic health record system, including SimplePractice or a comparable platform
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, OneDrive, telehealth platforms, and multi-line phone systems
• Availability for a combination of daytime, evening, and Saturday shifts
