About Bitcoin.com

Bitcoin.com is a leading platform in the cryptocurrency space, making it easy for millions of people around the world to buy, sell, store, and use digital assets. Through our self-custodial wallet, news portal, and broader product ecosystem, we're on a mission to create more economic freedom in the world. As we continue to grow, our people are the engine behind everything we build.

The Role

We're looking for a Head of HR to lead our people function through an exciting phase of growth. We're currently a team of 100+ and expanding, and you'll own the full people strategy — from scaling our talent acquisition engine to shaping a culture where top performers thrive and stay. Working directly with the leadership team, you'll help shape the company's strategic direction on people matters and ensure that message reaches and resonates with every member of the team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves both the strategic and operational sides of building great teams in a fast-moving industry.

Key Responsibilities

Scaling & Talent Acquisition

  • Design and execute a hiring strategy to support aggressive headcount growth across technical and non-technical teams
  • Build and lead a high-performing recruitment function, including sourcing strategies, employer branding, and structured interview processes
  • Partner with department heads on workforce planning, org design, and headcount budgeting
  • Develop competitive, market-informed compensation and benefits frameworks to attract top talent in the crypto and tech space
  • Reduce time-to-hire and improve quality-of-hire through data-driven recruiting metrics

Culture & Retention

  • Own and evolve company culture as we scale, ensuring our values are lived day-to-day — not just written on a wall
  • Design onboarding experiences that get new hires productive and connected quickly
  • Build career development frameworks, leveling systems, and internal mobility pathways that give people reasons to grow with us
  • Lead engagement and retention initiatives, including regular pulse surveys, feedback loops, and action plans that measurably move the needle
  • Champion an energizing team environment: rituals, events, recognition programs, and workplace experience

Leadership & HR Operations

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all people matters
  • Act as the bridge between leadership and the wider organization — ensuring the company's strategic message is communicated clearly, consistently, and in a way the whole team understands and rallies behind
  • Manage and mentor the HR/People team
  • Oversee performance management cycles, manager training, and leadership development
  • Ensure HR policies, employment contracts, and practices are compliant with local labor regulations
  • Own HR systems, analytics, and reporting — bring data to every people decision

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 8+ years of progressive HR/People experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (Head of HR, HR Director, VP People, or similar)
  • Proven track record scaling teams in a high-growth environment — you've grown an organization beyond the 100-employee mark, or similar
  • Deep expertise in talent acquisition strategy and building recruiting functions from the ground up
  • Demonstrated success improving retention and engagement with measurable outcomes
  • Strong command of compensation design, performance management, and org development
  • A builder's mindset: comfortable creating structure where none exists, and equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, up to and including the board level
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Poland or the UAE

Nice to Have

  • Experience in crypto, Web3, fintech, or another fast-evolving regulated industry
  • Experience managing HR across multiple jurisdictions or international teams, particularly in Poland or the UAE
  • Relevant certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD) or an advanced degree in HR, business, or organizational psychology

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The chance to shape the people strategy of a globally recognized crypto brand
  • A collaborative, ambitious team environment
