Blackbird Health is seeking independently licensed therapists to support our patients during the summer months. This flexible seasonal opportunity is designed to meet increased patient demand, with a focus on after-school, evening, and weekend virtual therapy availability.

As a Summer Therapist, you will provide evidence-based telehealth therapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary pediatric behavioral health team.

Fully remote opportunities are available, with optional hybrid and in-person opportunities for clinicians interested in onsite care.

You are passionate about transforming behavioral health for youth and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

You bring experience using evidence-based therapeutic approaches with children, adolescents, young adults, and families.

You excel at building meaningful therapeutic relationships and creating safe, engaging environments for patients and caregivers.

You are skilled in supporting patients across developmental stages and neurodiverse presentations.

You thrive in team-based environments and value interdisciplinary partnership, consultation, and shared problem-solving.

You are comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms, EMR systems, Google Workspace, and other virtual communication tools.

You are available to support patients during evening and weekend hours when families need care most.

• Provide individual telehealth therapy sessions for youth ages 2–26.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Partner with families and caregivers to improve understanding, treatment engagement, and long-term outcomes.

• Monitor patient progress toward established goals.
• Adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate to support continued growth and success.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, intake providers, and administrative teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Maintain high-quality clinical records and ongoing communication with patients and families.

• Active, unrestricted license in at least one U.S. state as one of the following:
  • LPC
  • LCSW
  • LMFT
  • PsyD or PhD
  • LSW
  • LMSW
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents
• Reliable phone, computer, and high-speed internet connection
• Availability for a minimum of 8 hours per week during core service hours:
  • Monday–Friday after 3:00 PM ET
  • Weekends between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM ET

• Minimum of 1 year of telehealth or virtual care experience

Providers participating in the Summer Core Hours Program may be considered for ongoing part-time, full-time, or 1099 opportunities with Blackbird Health following the summer program. Consideration will be based on performance, scheduling availability, organizational needs, and business demand.
