About the Role
~2 min readAs a Senior Inventory Strategy & Optimization Lead at Bluecrux, you will work on complex inventory strategy and optimization challenges for large, international clients. In addition to delivering projects, you will play an important role in the further development of our inventory strategy & optimization offering, which is a growing and evolving domain within Bluecrux.
You will combine strategic thinking with analytical depth and contribute to high-impact inventory projects with senior and C-level exposure. The role also offers the opportunity to actively help shape and build an offering, rather than stepping into a fully predefined framework.
Your responsibilities:
You lead and deliver inventory strategy and optimization projects in complex supply chain environments.
You work on projects involving senior and C-level stakeholders, contributing to strategic discussions and supporting key inventory decisions.
You translate strategic inventory questions into data-driven insights, concrete recommendations, and actionable roadmaps.
You contribute to the development and shaping of the inventory offering, including methodologies, value propositions, and go-to-market approach.
You collaborate closely with consultants, analytics experts, and technology teams to deliver sustainable impact for clients.
You support business development activities such as proposals, client discussions, and thought leadership.
You will work closely with Axon, Bluecrux’s in-house SaaS solution for advanced inventory analytics and optimization. Axon enables you to combine strategic problem-solving with strong analytical capabilities, allowing you to design inventory strategies that are both ambitious and executable.

Proactive and motivated to build and grow a new inventory strategy & optimization offering
Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
Strong interest in inventory optimization and advanced supply chain topics
Proven experience solving complex inventory and optimization challenges
Background in a strategy or management consulting environment, or similar advisory role
Strong stakeholder management skills, with senior and C-level exposure
Ability to translate strategic thinking into tactical and operational solutions
Solid understanding of algorithms, optimization models, and analytical tools
Affinity with Python and data-driven problem-solving (hands-on coding is a plus)
Interest in working with advanced analytics solutions such as Axon (experience not required)
You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field

You have a valid driver’s license or will obtain this in the next 6 months
