About Recruit CRM
Recruit CRM is one of the very few fully bootstrapped, remote SaaS companies to scale past $11M in ARR — and we’ve been profitable every single year of our existence. We’re growing 40%+ YoY at a 30% profit margin, which means we invest in our people and product for the long term, not for the next funding round.
We power 2,000+ executive search and recruitment firms across 100+ countries, with corporate entities in the US, Ireland, India, and Dubai. We’re ranked #1 in our category by Gartner and hold a 4.9/5 rating on both Capterra and G2. Learn more at www.recruitcrm.io.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Sales Development Manager to build, coach, and scale the SDR team that fuels our new-business pipeline. This is a builder’s role: you’ll own how we prospect, personalize, and qualify at the top of the funnel — and turn a group of SDRs into a repeatable pipeline engine for our Account Executives.
You’ll thrive here if you’ve carried a pipeline number yourself as an SDR/BDR and have since coached a team to beat theirs. You know what great outbound looks like in a crowded SaaS market, and you’re excited to build AI into the team’s daily workflow rather than bolt it on.
What You’ll Own
- Build the outbound engine — build the strategy, sequencing, and playbooks that reliably generate qualified pipeline for the AE team.
- Coach the team — hire, ramp, and develop SDRs through structured 1:1s, call and email reviews, and live coaching so they consistently beat monthly, quarterly, and annual quota.
- Own the numbers — set and track team KPIs (activity, meetings booked, SQLs, opportunity conversion, and pipeline generated) and report them to leadership on a regular cadence.
- Sharpen qualification — refine the pitch and the qualification framework (MEDDICC-style discovery) so AEs receive genuinely sales-ready opportunities, not noise.
- Drive account-based motions — partner with sales and marketing leadership to target the accounts, segments, and markets that matter most.
- Make AI standard — embed AI-assisted research, personalization, and qualification into how the team prospects every day, and codify what works into the playbook.
- Spot new growth — proactively test new channels, segments, and plays that open fresh pipeline.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–8 years in B2B lead generation / sales development, including hands-on outbound as an individual contributor before you managed.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring an SDR/BDR team to (and past) quota in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- A metrics-first operating style — you’re comfortable owning a dashboard and coaching to the numbers behind it.
- Working proficiency with HubSpot (or a comparable CRM), Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and LinkedIn.
- Strong writing and messaging instincts — you can tell weak outbound copy from copy that actually books meetings.
Nice to Have
- SaaS sales development experience — a strong bonus if you’ve sold into recruitment, staffing, or HR tech.
- Fluency with sales engagement and sourcing tools (e.g. Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft or Outreach).
- Hands-on use of AI tools for research, personalization, and prospecting workflows.
- Experience selling into or across North American and/or Latin American markets.
What Success Looks Like
- First 90 days: ramped on our ICP, product, and playbook; running consistent 1:1s and call reviews; SDR activity and meeting quality trending up.
- First 6–12 months: a documented, repeatable outbound playbook; the team hitting pipeline targets predictably; AI embedded as a default part of daily prospecting
Why Join Us
- Bootstrapped and profitable — no funding-cycle whiplash, and long-term thinking baked into everything we do.
- Category leader — #1 by Gartner, 4.9/5 on Capterra and G2, and trusted by 2,000+ firms worldwide.
- Genuinely remote — work from wherever you do your best work.
- Real ownership — you’re building the outbound function, not inheriting a rigid one.
