Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Serve as the primary management point of contact for the Government, contract leadership, regional Senior Network Engineers, and supporting team members.
- →Plan, organize, direct, and monitor contract activities to ensure work is completed in accordance with the contract, task orders, applicable policies, and established performance standards.
- →Coordinate the work of the CONUS, Pacific, and Europe teams, including priorities, schedules, dependencies, travel, surge support, and cross-regional technical escalations.
- →Provide leadership and administrative oversight to contract personnel while supporting clear accountability, collaboration, and timely issue resolution.
- →Monitor staffing levels, vacancies, onboarding, employee performance, training, certifications, and other personnel actions affecting contract execution.
- →Track deliverables, milestones, service levels, risks, issues, corrective actions, and customer commitments through completion.
- →Prepare and submit required status reports, performance updates, staffing reports, meeting materials, and other contract deliverables.
- →Lead recurring customer and internal team meetings; document decisions, action items, responsible parties, and due dates.
- →Coordinate with technical leads to evaluate operational issues, prioritize resources, manage escalations, and communicate impacts or recommended courses of action.
- →Maintain contract documentation and support compliance with quality-control, security, reporting, and records-management requirements.
- →Identify contract risks and performance trends, develop mitigation or corrective-action plans, and elevate matters requiring Government or corporate leadership decisions.
- →Support contract modifications, funding and period-of-performance tracking, invoice validation, subcontractor coordination, and other contract administration activities as assigned.
- →Promote consistent processes and standards across all supported regions while allowing for mission and site-specific requirements.
- →Perform other project and contract management duties necessary to support successful execution of the mission.
Requirements
~1 min read- U.S. Citizenship.
- An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance or higher.
- Demonstrated experience managing technical teams, projects, or service-delivery activities in a federal or DoD contracting environment.
- Working knowledge of contract performance management, staffing, schedules, deliverables, risk management, quality control, and customer reporting.
- Ability to lead geographically dispersed technical personnel and coordinate work across multiple regions and stakeholder organizations.
- Ability to understand network operations and technical support issues sufficiently to manage priorities, resources, risks, and escalations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with Government officials, technical personnel, corporate leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and meet contract-driven deadlines.
- Ability to satisfy all access, security, and background requirements established for the position by the contract.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent management certification (Six Sigma, ITIL preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing technical teams, programs, projects, or contracts in a federal or DoD environment; or completion of a certified technical or vocational school plus 12 years of progressively responsible experience in technical operations, program management, or contract management.
