Plumbing Designer

Plumbing Designer to be involved with design for commercial office buildings, government facilities, Schools and hospital/healthcare facilities.

The designer will be involved in all aspects of plumbing design for building types noted above including the layout of sanitary, grease, domestic water and hot water systems, storm, compressed air and gas piping. Designer must have strong communication skills to perform project coordination assignments with other engineers and technicians; review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommend necessary changes; research code issues and communicate with City, State, and County officials. Designer must be detailed and have trouble shooting skills.

Must have strong working knowledge of Revit. Some prior use of AutoCad is preferred. Must be knowledgeable of Plumbing codes. Word, Outlook and Excel familiarity. 5+ years experience and strong communication skills preferred.
