High Performance Computing Technical Support Consultant - Berkeley, CA (Open)

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a High Performance Computing Technical Support Consultant to join their team in Berkeley, California. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the availability of HPC systems for customers and creating documentation for site procedures and configurations. Your tasks will include managing system software and firmware revisions, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing detailed problem analysis and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including system engineers and architects, to ensure the design meets customer requirements. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least 2 years of HPC-related experience (or 5+ years without a degree), extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems, and proficiency in programming and scripting languages. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to document processes and procedures. Occasional travel may be required for training purposes.
