SNOWFLAKE ARCHITECT

The role of Snowflake Architect is being offered as a full-time remote position within the Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data and analytics solutions, including 10+ years of successful involvement in consultative and sophisticated deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and support. The Snowflake Architect will work closely with the offshore team, providing technical guidance and support related to AWS and Snowflake components. Responsibilities include conducting PoCs for new technology exploration, coordinating code merges, resolving technical challenges, and working with Test managers/Leads to understand ad-hoc testing scope. The Architect must possess strong technical proficiency in Snowflake, including its architecture, SQL, performance tuning, data loading, aggregation, and migration from RDBMS to Snowflake. Additionally, familiarity with various data sources, CI/CD tools like Gitlab and GitHub, as well as optional experience with DBT, Airflow, and Test Automation tools like Selenium, would be beneficial. The annual base compensation for the role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, with the final offer based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. The Snowflake Architect is expected to play a pivotal role in driving the technical architecture to meet the analytic goals of the organization in a globally distributed team environment.
