Join the Financial Planning team within Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) Technology, where we build scalable platforms that empower clients to plan for their financial futures—whether working with an advisor or navigating independently. Our work supports clients across every stage of their financial journey and helps foster long-term financial confidence.

As a Scrum Master, you will partner with Agile teams to deliver meaningful, client-focused outcomes while continuously improving how work gets done. You will play a critical role in shaping delivery practices, enabling team performance, and fostering a culture rooted in collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning. This is an opportunity to influence both team effectiveness and the client experience in a highly visible, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Enable Agile teams to deliver high-quality, customer-centric outcomes by coaching and guiding them toward high performance
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and team collaboration (e.g., sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives) to drive clarity, alignment, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and remove impediments that impact team delivery while fostering team ownership and accountability
  • Promote Lean and Agile practices through hands-on coaching and practical application within the team context
  • Drive effective communication and collaboration across business and technology partners
  • Support a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and data-driven decision-making
  • Use Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, cycle time) to help teams inspect, adapt, and improve delivery outcomes
  • Partner with stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and ensure predictable delivery
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • 5+ years of experience serving in a Scrum Master or Agile delivery role within a software development environment
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Proven ability to apply Agile and Lean principles to improve team delivery, collaboration, and outcomes
  • Hands-on experience using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, release planning) to drive continuous improvement
  • Experience identifying and removing delivery impediments while enabling teams to become more self-organizing
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, drive decision-making, and navigate constructive team dialogue
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Demonstrated learning agility, including the ability to quickly understand complex concepts and adapt to new tools or practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or similar scaled Agile environment
  • Background in software development or prior hands-on technical experience
  • Experience supporting teams with cross-team dependencies or large-scale initiatives
  • Ability to analyze delivery trends and recommend improvements to enhance team or organizational performance
  • Experience creating clear, audience-specific documentation or communications for stakeholders
  • Exposure to financial services or regulated environments
  • Experience leveraging automation or AI-enabled tools to improve delivery efficiency and reduce manual effort
