Lead and manage a team of EES professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering collaboration. Secure funding for EES initiatives through grant proposals, partnerships, and internal resource allocation. Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and meetings on EES issues. Drive organizational change to embed sustainability principles across all levels. Provide technical expertise on specific EES areas, such as renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. Identify and champion innovative solutions to address environmental challenges. Develop and implement environmental policies at national or international levels. Advocate for sustainable practices through coalition building and stakeholder engagement. Oversee the development and implementation of a robust monitoring and evaluation system for EES programs. Lead the organization's research agenda on EES issues, disseminating findings to inform policy and program design. Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of environmental sustainability programs and projects. Develop sustainability reporting frameworks and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders. Lead initiatives to promote renewable energy adoption and energy efficiency improvements. Develop and implement climate change adaptation strategies and resilience plans. Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, and manage environmental risks. Lead research initiatives and innovation programs to advance environmental sustainability. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to staff and stakeholders. Lead corporate social responsibility initiatives and community engagement activities. Develop and manage budgets for EES programs and initiatives. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations for organizational operations. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs. Mentor and coach Mid level and Junior staff members to build capacity and develop future EES leaders.
