Here are some key benefits of being in a talent pool: Linkage to employers Access to Opportunities and skill matching Networking Career Development Position: Financial Inclusion Internship (Global Talent Pool) Experience: 0-1 year Location: Global Industries: Humanitarian, NGO, INGO Roles Within the Talent Pool Include but are not limited to Community Facilitator Intern Livelihood and Economic Inclusion Intern Investment Intern Economist Intern Financial Sector Intern Financial Inclusion Intern Microfinance Intern Risk Management Intern Impact Evaluation Intern Partnerships and Advocacy Intern Responsibilities: Conduct research on global trends, best practices, and innovations in financial inclusion. Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making and program design. Assist in the implementation of financial inclusion projects, including microfinance programs, capacity-building initiatives, and technology-based solutions. Provide administrative and logistical support for project activities, workshops, and events. Assist in community outreach efforts to raise awareness about financial inclusion opportunities and facilitate access to financial services. Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, partners, and beneficiaries, to gather feedback and ensure the relevance and effectiveness of our programs. Support the development and delivery of training sessions and workshops on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and financial management. Assist in building the capacity of local organizations and entrepreneurs involved in delivering financial services to underserved populations. Assist in the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track the progress and impact of financial inclusion initiatives. Collect data, conduct surveys, and analyze qualitative and quantitative information to assess program outcomes and inform future interventions. Requirements Core Competencies Strong passion for financial inclusion and humanitarian work. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse team environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Commitment to the mission and values of the international NGO. Technical Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic knowledge of research methodologies and data analysis techniques. Familiarity with financial concepts and principles. Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., Trello, Asana) is a plus. Language skills relevant to the regions where the NGO operates are desirable. Qualifications/Requirements: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduated with the last two years in a relevant program in Economics, Finance, International development studies, Business studies, Business Administration or related fields. Prior internship or volunteer experience in financial inclusion, development, or humanitarian work is preferred but not required. Ability to commit to the duration of the internship and work remotely or in the specified location if applicable. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
