Here are some key benefits of being in a talent pool: Linkage to employers Access to Opportunities and skill matching Networking Career Development Position: Financial Inclusion Officer – Junior Level (Global Talent Pool) Experience: 1 - 3 years Location: Global Industries: Humanitarian, NGO, INGO Roles Within the Talent Pool Include but not limited to Community Facilitator Assistant Livelihood and Economic Inclusion Assistant Investment Assistant Economist Assistant Financial Sector Assistant Financial Inclusion Assistant Microfinance Assistant Risk Management Assistant Impact Evaluation Assistant Partnerships and Advocacy Assistant Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of financial inclusion projects, including conducting research, preparing reports, and coordinating activities to ensure timely and effective project delivery. Assist in the implementation of financial inclusion projects and initiatives aimed at promoting access to financial services for vulnerable populations affected by humanitarian crises. Engage with community members, local leaders, and partner organizations to raise awareness about available financial services, promote financial literacy, and gather feedback on program effectiveness and relevance. Assist in the promotion and adoption of digital financial services, such as mobile money, digital savings, and remittances, by facilitating access, addressing barriers, and promoting best practices for safe and responsible usage. Collect, analyze, and maintain data related to financial inclusion interventions, including client demographics, performance indicators, and impact assessment data. Support the organization of training workshops, webinars, and other capacity-building activities aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of staff, partners, and stakeholders in financial inclusion concepts and practices. Assist in building and maintaining partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions, NGOs, and other stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and resource mobilization for financial inclusion initiatives. Contribute to the development of communication materials, including newsletters, website content, and social media updates, to raise awareness about our organization's financial inclusion efforts and achievements. Provide administrative support to the financial inclusion team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing travel arrangements as needed. Support the monitoring and evaluation of financial inclusion activities, including the development of indicators, data collection tools, and reporting mechanisms to track progress, measure impact, and ensure accountability to stakeholders. Prepare reports, case studies, success stories, and other documentation to capture lessons learned, best practices, and program achievements. Contribute to donor reports and proposals as required. Ensure compliance with relevant humanitarian principles, standards, and guidelines, including those related to financial accountability, transparency, and safeguarding of beneficiary data and privacy. Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages would be an advantage. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data, conduct market assessments, and develop actionable recommendations. Ability to work independently and part of a team, with a positive and collaborative attitude. Strong interpersonal skills in collaboration and coordination. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and build relationships based on trust and mutual respect. Flexibility to travel and work in remote or insecure environments as needed. Proficiency in relevant computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite and financial management software.
