Here are some key benefits of being in a talent pool: Linkage to employers Access to Opportunities and skill matching Networking Career Development Position: Information Technology Internship (Talent Pool) Experience: 0-1 year Location: Multiple (Kenya and Global) Industries: Multiple Roles Within the Talent Pool Include IT Support Intern Software Development Intern Web Development Intern Network and Systems Administration Intern Database Administration Intern Cyber Security Intern Data Analyst Intern Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing Intern IT Project Management Intern Business Analyst Intern IT Research and Development Intern Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. Assist with the setup and configuration of computer systems, printers, and other peripherals. Install, update, and maintain software applications on user machines and servers. Ensure that software licenses are up to date and in compliance with organizational policies. Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and access points. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in network upgrades or expansions. Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware, including cleaning, hardware upgrades, and repairs. Assist in data backup procedures and ensure that data can be recovered in case of hardware failures or data loss incidents. Create and update technical documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and IT procedures. Maintain records of hardware and software inventory. Follow security protocols and assist in maintaining a secure IT environment. Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments. Provide basic training to end-users on software applications and IT best practices. Monitor IT systems for performance issues, outages, and security threats. Assist IT project teams with tasks related to project planning, implementation, and documentation. Participate in project meetings and contribute to project objectives. Collaborate with IT team members and other departments on technology-related initiatives and projects. Provide technical assistance to colleagues when needed. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices through self-study and training opportunities. Pursue relevant certifications and qualifications. Little or no experience required. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Problem solving abilities Excellent time management skills.
